Pages Farm

Pages Farm is in West Essex near Saffron Walden.

On our smallholding we aim to produce organic homegrown fruit and vegetables, collect eggs from our free range chickens and ducks, produce honey from our small apiary and aim to put back as much as we can into our land rather than just take. Willow has been planted as screening and wind breaks, which will be coppiced for our wood burning stoves. We also intend to continue to keep pigs on a regular basis with 'Gloucester Old Spot' as our preferred breed. We are currently trying to establish a 3.5 acre vineyard with Rockdust to remineralise the soil and 30 tonnes of local compost to improve it.

Seers Rockdust will be at the heart of all we do from the vineyard to our vegetables and recommend it to everyone.

Our 3.5 acre vineyard was planted in 2007 with four varieties Bacchus, Phoenix, Rondo and Regent. Our intention is to sell the grapes (please click onto vineyard section for more details). The vineyard is not open is the public.
